Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski popularly known by the name Paul Wesley, is an multi-award winning actor, producer and director famous for his work in the well-known television drama the show The Vampire Diaries. The role he played on the TV series has brought him numerous distinctions, awards, and nominations. This includes The Teen Choice Awards and the "Young Hollywood Awards". Wesley was born on the streets of New Brunswick New Jersey, United States. During his high school days, he displayed an interest in acting. After that, he enrolled in Rutgers University. After recognizing his talents in acting and the fact that he can make a living out of his amazing acting skills the school was closed. First, he appeared in The American TV show Another World. He played the role of a lead character on Wolf Lake, a CBS TV series two years after. He reached the top of his professional career as he was cast in the role of Stefan Salvatore in the American TV series The Vampire Diaries. He has also directed a few episodes of the popular series. Seit his first appearance on The Last Run in 1999, he has been appearing in other movies that have been viewed by millions of people. Recent appearances include Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as a supporting actor. He is also famous through social media. He has more than 13 million Instagram followers as well as 4.1 million Twitter followers.
