Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress best known for playing Bo in The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she teaches drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories include going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mother do her job. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials when she was a kid. In 1997, she earned a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles within the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renew their vows during the Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the lead role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus and a succubus as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the third season finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to viewers of the show during an episode of the Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. On the 20th of June 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to return to work on the show. CNN has named Bo's character alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
