Sometimes, a glamorous career conceals many of the most tragic stories. The winner of both the USA and World Championships in the event of a hurdle, Lolo Jones has reached her present standing through a lot of struggle and immense amount of patience. Jones grew up with the most difficult of lives being the daughter of a single mother with five children. Her mother was constantly changing her location and she spent some time living within the basement. Jones lived a nomadic existence that led her to switch schools each year, until she reached the age of high school. Jones began her athletic career in college as one the top hurdlers. In the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship, she won in the 100m hurdles. Jones was also a member of the second team to win the 100-meter relay. In 2003 and 2004, Jones was the winner of the indoor hurdles competition at the NCAA Championship. Jones is training since 2005 when she finished her college studies. The same year she also was the winner of her first Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she won the Ostrava Track race as well as Heusden.

Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town in South Africa. She immigrated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family during her late teens. Brandt was spotted locally by casting directors, and was offered the lead role as Naevia on the Starz hit show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. As a result of her collaboration together with Steven S. D Knight's and Sam Raimi's producers, she was an international movie star. Mazikeen was the comic book Vertigo/DC popular Mazikeen in Netflix's Lucifer that ran for six seasons. Forbes has ranked Lucifer the top-rated series for 2021. Brandt is set to next appear alongside Andrew Lincoln in the limited Walking Dead 6 episode spin-off airing in 2024. She will also be starring alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated series Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. In Auckland she was employed in retail and later get promoted to IT managerial consultant. Lesley's professional career started with few model projects. Then she appeared in numerous commercials. She earned her degree with a specialization in acting in 2008. In 2009 she began learning in Meisner methods of study.
