Emily Mortimer

Emily Mortimer is a British screenwriter and actor. She is renowned for her significant contribution to Hollywood films. Mortimer is a former theater student with a noteworthy legacy. Additionally, she is an affable personality. Mortimer was the main character in "Mary Poppins Returns," a follow-up to 1964's cult musical "Mary Poppins." This role marked an important milestone in her career. She played a quirky French assistant in 'The Pink Panther' film along with an ambitious, headstrong news reporter in 'The Newroom. Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer is the daughter of famous writers and barristers Sir John Mortimer (born in Hammersmith) and Penelope Gollop. She was born December 1 in 1971. Emily has a large number of siblings. Emily has a brother and an older sister who was born from the union of her father with Penelope Fletcher. She also has a younger sibling known as Rosie. Her father was involved in a relationship with actress Wendy Craig, and she has a brother-in-law named Ross Bentley. Mortimer studied at the 'St Paul's Girls' School, located in London. After graduating at Oxford University in 1994 where she was a student of English in Lincoln College and Russian, she attended Moscow Arts Theatre Drama School to pursue a degree in acting.
